SATURDAY, Day 1
Paris Meet in the lobby of Hotel Regina at 3pm.  Transfer by motor coach to the Esprit d'Europe moored on the Seine river in the heart of Paris. Champagne welcome aboard and afterwards you will enjoy an unforgettable Paris-by-night cruise. You'll come to understand why Paris has earned its nickname, the City of Light.

SUNDAY, Day 2
Paris to Rueil Malmaison This morning after a gourmet breakfast on board, take some time to explore Paris independently. An afternoon cruise takes you to Rueil Malmaison, a quiet town on the banks of the Seine favored by several Impressionist painters.

MONDAY, Day 3
Rueil Malmaison to Vernon Spend the morning at Chateau de Malmaison, the home of Empress Josephine and, on occasion, of Napoleon himself. One of the loveliest settings in all of France, Malmaison was also the seat of the first Consul and the French government from 1800 to 1802. You return to the Esprit d'Europe for lunch in Conflans St. Honorine, then begin an afternoon cruise to Vernon, a delightful town with a charming medieval center.

TUESDAY, Day 4
Giverny to Rouen Begin the day wit h a visit to the house and gardens of Claude Monet at Giverny. Except some surprisingly familiar sights: the gardens are meticulously maintained to remain exactly as they were when Monet painted them. After lunch on the barge, cruise to Rouen, geteway to historic Normandy. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the medieval city with its half-timbered houses and Gothic cathedral. Then take some time on your own for independent exploration.

WEDNESDAY, Day 5
Caudebec to Jumieges This morning, cruise to Caudebec, a delightful country village surrounded by apple orchards. Among the treasures in this part of Normandy are mills that produce delicious (and potent) cider. You will indulge in some serious cider tasting after a visit to the Abbey of Jumieges.

THURSDAY, Day 6
Jumieges to Honfleur The timing of your departure today depends on the tides, as you will cruise into an estuary of the Seine, passing the expansive suspension bridge of Tancarville and Normandie. Your destination is the charming and delightful town of Honfleur. There you will take a guided walking tour of the picturesque harbor, the half-timbered houses that line the city's streets, and the wooden church of Ste. Catherine. Tonight, sit down to a gala farewell dinner.
